Historic Tombstone and San Pedro Area ...in the 1880s, all that silver ore had to go somewhere to be processed... like down to Charleston, Millville, Contention, and Fairbank on the San Pedro River.

as above, full hi-res JPG image ...the original is in the Library of Congress, 5 feet wide, lithographed on linen. A sad note -- one of the map's surveyors, M.R. Peel, was shot dead down at Charleston on the San Pedro River, six months after the map was completed. The border illustrations are a very accurate depiction of what the mines, town, and land looked like at that time.
